Since I have a research background, I find it important to rely on methods which are evidence-based to achieve faster and long-lasting results. These include cognitive behavioral elements to better understand and uncover your thought processes and core beliefs that influence how you relate to yourself, others, and different situations. I also like to lean on the use of mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and guided meditations, which can help you with emotion regulation and which you can later practice at home. I complement these approaches with positive psychology, because improving our emotional well-being is always a good investment, not only when there is an immediate issue.
